As a younger girl Ms. Mossie (AKA Leslie Chaw) found her professional passion in a floral shop. Unfortunately Bay Area mortgages aren't commiserate with florist wages.
So, her day job pays the bills and her nights/weekend job,
Ms. Mossie's fuels her heart.
How does she do it? Ms. Mossie's clients are generally referred by friends or family. By generally working with one client/project at at time, she's able to give your event plenty of attention. After initial contact is made, you'll meet for coffee and a chat where you'll establish compatibility. If both parties feel like its a good fit, you'll discuss project specifics including budget. Miss Mossie uses her insider know-how to suggest flowers, and designs that won't break your bank. A 50% deposit secures your event on her calendar. Two weeks before your event, you'll finalize all details and the remainder of your balance is due. On the day of your event your arrangements will be delivered at a specified time by her bright and smiling face (see above)!
Ms. Mossie's rates are generally considerably lower than other local florist's. By taking on a limited number of projects, working on designs and flowers that are synergistic with availability, working in cold-hard cash money, utilizing her garage and her own unmarked vehicle Ms. Mossie's overhead is low.
